Chapter Books and More Links

I am indebted to the creator of the Eldorado (IL) Memorial Library District's website for letting me know about it. The library's links to children's book-related sites included several new to me. I particularly liked Alan Brown's Just for Kids Who Like Books. Brown, a retired teacher-librarian, who lives in Toronto, Ontario, developed the site in 1997. While it has reviews and stories by young readers, my favorite section is the "Preview Books" section, which you can find by using the drop-down menu at the top of the page. There you will find cover art and descriptions of a great many chapter books that will appeal to 8/9-12 year olds.recall recall
