New Movies Based on Books

Thursday December 25, 2003
Today, after our family's Christmas dinner, we went to see Cheaper by the Dozen. We all (three generations) enjoyed the movie, despite the fact that the only things it has in common with the book are the title and a lovable family with twelve children. I was hoping to see a preview of Peter Pan, but we didn't get there in time. If you haven't seen it either, take a look at Universal Studios' Peter Pan website. Once you have seen the trailer and looked over the synopsis and the gallery, or have actually seen the movie, let me know what you think. The movie is rated PG.

We have been discussing good and bad movie versions of children's books. Join the discussion by posting your comments about the new movie version of Peter Pan (or any other movies based on children's books that you'd like to recommend or warn us about) on the About Children's Books Forum.recall recall
