Eragon Is Everywhere!

Wednesday January 14, 2004
It seems no matter where I go, I see copies of Eragon, the 528-page fantasy epic for children. It's hard to believe that the author, Christopher Paolini, began to write Eragon when he was 15 years old, the same year the home schooler from Montana received his GED. It's true, according to a missoulian.com article. The book has not only made it to the bestseller lists, but the movie rights have already been purchased by Fox 2000.

What kinds of fantasy epics do your older kids like? Please share your recommendations by posting them on the About Children's Books Forum.recall recall
