Links to More Children's Publishers Added

Sunday February 29, 2004
I just added three more children’s book publishers to my Publishers directory. Capstone Press publishes nonfiction books for grades PreK-12 and is a good source of nonfiction for beginning and reluctant readers. Dawn Publications is dedicated to sharing nature with children through illustrated books and also publishes teacher’s guides. Orca Book Publishers publishes children's picture books, young readers (chapter books), and juvenile and young adult fiction, plus high interest-low vocabulary books (hi/lo books) for reluctant teen readers. In addition, I have started on a series of Publisher Profiles, the first of which features Candlewick Press.

Do you have a favorite children’s books publisher? If so, let me know the name of the publisher and what you like about the publisher's children's books by posting a message on the About Children’s Books Forum. recall recall
