JK Rowling Makes Most Influential List

Monday April 26, 2004
Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world is making news around the world, and JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, is on the list. According to an article in The Irish Examiner,
"Michael Elliott, Time magazine’s editor-at-large, said: 'We think that our list shows that greatness lives – that a few people can effect the lives of billions around the world.'"
Millions of children and adults around the world are now eagerly awaiting Harry Potter Book Six, but no publication date has yet been announced.

For more about the Harry Potter phenomenon, see my Harry Potter Plus directory. What do you and your kids predict will happen in book six of the Harry Potter series? A publication date has not yet been released, so we have plenty of time to think up our own plots! If you have some ideas, start a discussion on the About Children's Books Forum.
