Finding Children's Books at Bargain Prices

Sunday May 9, 2004
Today when my daughter, Eleanor, and I celebrated Mother's Day with a visit to the Wichita River Festival's Art & Book Fair, I was reminded of my How To tips on finding bargain books for your child. In it, I mention that you don't need to be at a garage sale when it opens to find good children's books. That's true, but as I found out today, that's not the case with a used book sale. At a used book sale, you need to get there as early as possible, or it may be sold out by the time you arrive.

Check out my tips for finding bargain children's books, then let me know if you have other suggestions by posting a message on the About Children's Books Forum.
