Marc Brown's Arthur Popular Around the World

Tuesday October 19, 2004
See and read interviews with Marc Brown, the author and illustrator of the wildly popular Arthur children's books, on the Reading Rockets website. According to the introduction to the interviews,
Arthur's Emmy Award-winning PBS television series is broadcast in over 60 countries. And in the United States alone, nearly 60 million Arthur books have been sold.
In an effort to learn more about the father in the Arthur series, I read a number of Arthur picture books. See my article to find out what I learned about Arthur, his nose, his family, and his father.
