Kids Books with Life Lessons

Listen and read about recommended books for kids coping with such situations/feelings as death, a new baby, sibling rivalry, anger, and bullying on NPR (National Public Radio). NPR's Michele Norris asked for recommendations from several experts in children's literature. Recommended books included:
- "Where the Wild Things Are" (see my review) by Maurice Sendak
- "The Hundred Dresses" by Eleanor Estes
- "I Love You the Purplest" by Barbara Joosse, illustrated by Mary Whyte
- "Ramona the Pest" by Beverly Cleary.
