"Kiss Good Night" - A Gentle Bedtime Story

Tuesday March 22, 2005
We've had some stormy nights here, which reminded me of Amy Hest's "Kiss Good Night." This gentle bedtime story, which takes place on a stormy night, is about a little bear, Sam, who is not quite ready to go to sleep . Both the text by Amy Hest and the artwork by Anita Jeram paint a picture of the home as a center of love and tranquility in the midst of the storm outside.
