I Need More Recommendations

Recently, I posted the following message on the About Children's Books Forum:

I am working on a Top Picks: Children's Books You Loved That Your Children Will Love, Too. Before I pick my ten, I'd like to get as many recommendations as possible. In our family, some of the books include "Pat the Bunny," "The Poky Little Puppy," "The Secret Garden," and "Chronicles of Narnia." What are some of the books you loved as a child and then, as an adult, shared with your own children who also loved them?
