Author Mem Fox on the Importance of Reading Aloud to Your Child

Mem Fox has a passion for teaching, writing, and literacy. Her first picture book, "Possum Magic," was published in 1983 and remains the best selling picture book in Fox's native Australia. Mem Fox is also the author of "Reading Magic: Why Reading Aloud to Our Children Will Change Their Lives Forever," a book about the impact of reading aloud to children that is directed towards parents and caregivers of babies and very young children.
