Children's Books: "A Day, a Dog"

Gabrielle Vincent's "A Day, a Dog" is an extraordinary wordless picture book, with haunting, yet spare, artwork, and a poignant storyline about an abandoned dog. It is not for very young children. I would, however, highly recommend it for older children, teens, and adults.
