Celebrate the Changing Seasons With Pieces: A Year in Poems & Quilts

Thursday April 5, 2007
Cover Art - Pieces: A Year in Poems & Quilts After several weeks of warmer weather, I thought spring had arrived, and I recommended children's picture books about gardens and gardening. Last weekend, we planted tubs of geraniums and pansies out front. Today, it snowed! Now, I'm recommending Pieces: A Year in Poems & Quilts, which was written and illustrated by Anna Grossnickle Hines. No matter what the weather conditions where you live, you'll find an appropriate poem in this collection of nature poetry, illustrated with beautifully designed and constructed miniature quilts.
