The game of Quidditch, so popular in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, has been in the news lately. Thanks to Middlebury College students who created a land-bound version of Quidditch in 2005 and have since taken it on the road, Quidditch is being played on several college campuses this spring, including
Princeton. Reading about these games reminded me of J.K. Rowling's fascinating book
Quidditch Through the Ages. The book, a Hogwarts School reference book, is one of two reference books written by Rowling to benefit charity.
Quidditch Through the Ages and
Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them are available individually or as a boxed set.
