Another Look at TV

Last week was TV Turnoff Week, and there was a lot of negative talk about television and kids. However, I think most parents agree that there are some excellent shows and movies available on TV. The trick is to choose carefully and limit TV viewing time to a reasonable amount. If you are anxious to encourage your children to read more, did you know that one good strategy is to use TV, videos, DVDs and movies to promote reading?
