I love Pippi Lockstocking! I grew up on these stories when I was a kid. So whimsical and adventurous.
And now at this point in time, my kids are getting familiarized as well with Pippi… we love how creative and un-conventional she is…
Here’s another book that we read about recently that has lots of imagination and un-convention: Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy
I find Astrid Lindgren’s books especially Pippi,Madicken and Lotta extremely delightful, they have no parallel in the abundance of fun they effortlessly offer to children as well as grown ups around the globe!! I can’t thank Astrid Lindgren enough for those seamless hours of enjoyment provided to three generations of my family.
She is a bond that binds whole of Sweden, so warmly together!!
