The Twilight Series - Differing Perspectives
Friday November 21, 2008
If you read all of the responses to my blog about Twilight asking what age range the Twilight series is appropriate for, you will see a variety of answers. For more insight on the series and what to consider, see What Parents of Teens Need to Know About the Twilight Series. In the article, Denise Witmer, About.com Guide to Parenting Teens, advises, "You’ll want to save the fourth, and last, book for when your teen is older and mature enough to handle sexually explicit material and the 'death' of Bella." Read Denise's article and let me know how, and if, it fits in with how you perceive the Twilight series. Let me know what you think of the movie also. I love the Twilight Saga and I’m twelve. I read all the books and I didn’t find them too mature for me. I saw the movie, and I wasn’t expecting it to be good. But I ended up loving it! Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were a great Bella and Edward. They stuck closely to the book.
I am 21 years old and I absolutely LOVED all of the books. I didn’t feel too old for them, they were perfect for me.
