Winter Lights: A Season in Poems & Quilts

If you are looking for a children's holiday book the whole family will enjoy, I recommend Winter Lights: A Season in Poems & Quilts by Anna Grossnickle Hines. In Winter Lights, just as in her book Pieces: A Year in Poems & Quilts, Hines has created beautiful miniature quilts to accompany each poem. The poems in Winter Lights stress the holiday lights of Santa Lucia, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the Chinese New Year, as well as other winter lights.
