What Is SCBWI?

Do you know what SCBWI is? I didn't until I attended one of their events several years ago. SCBWI stands for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Saturday, I attended another SCBWI event - a very interesting luncheon sponsored by the Kansas chapter of SCBWI. It included a panel discussion on writing, finding a publisher and getting a book published. Once again, I came away convinced that the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators is a very helpful resource for aspiring children's book authors and illustrstors.
