Looking for Books for Teens?

Wednesday March 4, 2009
Are you looking for good books for your mature teenager? The Michael L. Printz Award is an annual award that honors the best book written for young adults in the previous year. The winner of the 2009 Michael L. Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature is Jellicoe Road by Geraldine McCaughrean, which was published by HarperTempest, an imprint of HarperCollins. In addition, four books were designated 2009 Michael L. Printz Honor Books. For more information on teen reading and recommended books, read my interview with the president of the Young Adult Library Services Association on Teen Reading Trends: 2008-2009 and my article on Teen Reading and YALSA.
