Looking for Children's Books About April Fools' Day?

Thursday March 19, 2009
If you are looking for children's picture books or beginning readers about April Fools' Day, I have some to recommend to you. Several are written in rhyme and all are amusing. One book, Marc Brown's Arthur's April Fool, is an entertaining story about how a bully becomes an "April Fool" due to the quick thinking of Arthur, his victim. Another, April Foolishness, is about a man whose grandchildren keep trying to trick him, but grandma is the one who succeeds. I wish you and your family lots of fun with these April Fools' Day children's books.

I can also recomment an audio book called Goodnight Stories by Lucylle Sheppard. Has nothing to do with April’s Fools day but it is somehow similar. A boy bullies a whole town and is taught a lesson by a fairy godmother….

my kids love it!
