April Fools' Day Fun With Kids' Books

Wednesday April 1, 2009
Celebrate April Fools' Day with children's books. The books I especially like include both picture books and beginning readers. Several have rhyming texts and all are amusing. Arthur's April Fool, by Marc Brown, is an entertaining story about how a bully becomes an "April Fool" due to the quick thinking of Arthur, his victim. In April Foolishness, a man's grandchildren keep trying to trick him, but it's grandma who succeeds. I wish you and your family lots of April Fools' Day fun with kids' books.
