Love to Mamá: A Tribute to Mothers

Our celebration of National Poetry Month continues with another children's poetry book, one that I have found to be equally popular with adults. Thirteen Latino poets celebrate mothers and grandmothers in Pat Mora's Love to Mamá: A Tribute to Mothers, illustrated by Paula S. Barragan M. Love to Mamá celebrates both a particular culture in all of its variety and the universal bonds of love between mother and child. If you are looking for a very special book for your child, or a special Mother's Day gift for your mother or grandmother, I recommend Love to Mamá.
