Thrifty Thursday - Bargain Books at Your Grocery Store
Thursday May 21, 2009
While there are a number of places to find bargain books, one of the best places to find paperback versions of award-winning children's books in the summer could be your grocery store. Many of the large chains of grocery store carry a very nice selection of low cost children's books, particularly chapter books and other fiction, during the summer months. Of course, you can also save money at your public library by borrowing, instead of buying, books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. Another wonderful resource, particularly for books to download, may be your state library. The next time you are at your local public library, ask about getting a state library card.
