Mommy? = Pop-up Fun for Halloween

Monday October 5, 2009
Mommy? cover art I couldn't resist buying my own copy of Mommy?, the first pop-up book illustrated by the extraordinary Maurice Sendak. Mommy? is an almost wordless pop-up book. Since it tells the story of a toddler searching for his mother among monsters and mummies, Mommy? is perfect for Halloween. Young children will find it deliciously creepy while older children and adults will appreciate the humor and the exceptional paper engineering. Maurice Sendak's award winning books include Where the Wild Things Are, a Caldecott Medal winner. How do you feel about pop-up books for children? Click on "Comments" below and share your opinion.

My children always enjoyed pop up books and I’m collecting them for my grandchildren. They are definitely “read together” books!
