Halloween Costumes Based on Children's Books

Sherri Osborn, the About.com Guide to Family Crafts, has some terrific photo galleries of children's Halloween costumes. A number of the costumes are based on characters from children's books. The Halloween costume based on the picture book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is one of my favorites. I also like the Pippi costume based on Astrid Lindgren's book Pippi Longstocking. There are also directions for a Max costume, based on the main character in the classic picture book Where the Wild Things Are.
