My list of the best children's books for Thanksgiving keeps getting longer. It now includes not one, but two books about giving thanks. Reeve Lindbergh compiled In Every Tiny Grain of Sand: A Child's Book of Prayers and Praise, with illustrations by Bob Graham, Elisa Kleven, Christine Davenier and Anita Jeram. It's a book for children of all ages, as well as adults. I just added The Thankful Book, published last month. It's one of author and illustrator Todd Parr's upbeat vibrantly colored books for children 3 to 6 years old. Parr's exuberant style and understanding of young children make this a book young kids will love.
