If you you are looking for books for boys, from tweens to teens (and their dads), that will interest even reluctant readers, I recommend Guinness World Records 2013. The large number of color photographs, the 4,000 world records, ranging from wacky to wonderful, the organization by theme and the two indexes all make this book both appealing and easy to use. While a lot of girls may also enjoy the book, librarians tell me it is particularly popular with tween and teen boys. For other recommended fiction and nonfiction books, see Video Book Talks: Middle Grade Books.
