Do your middle grade kids love baseball? The season has begun, but there's always time for kids to learn more about the sport, and about how to improve their own playing, by reading Kids' Nonfiction Books About Baseball. Whether it's statistics, playing tips for all positions, Major League players, or the history of the Negro Leagues, you'll find it in one or more of these books. Even kids who love baseball but are reluctant readers are apt to be eager to read these books. Have fun sharing statistics and trying to stump one another with some of the baseball trivia and history in these nonfiction books for upper elementary and middle school kids.
