With Children's Book Week coming November 15-21, 2004, I thought you might like to know more about the sponsor of this annual event, the Children's Book Council (CBC). The CBC is a nonprofit trade organization whose members are U.S. publishers and packagers of children's and young adult trade books. The organization is the official sponsor of the annual Young People's Poetry Week, the third week in April, and Children's Book Week, the week before Thanksgiving.
