The recent release on DVD of a three-disc collector's edition of the 1939 movie "The Wizard of Oz" has generated a lot of interest in the book and its author, L. Frank Baum. There are some valuable lessons to be learned and much enjoyment to be gained from reading "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."
