Didactic Drone A Little Heavy
- I am a fan of the books -- they teach good moral lessons for kids. The preachiness can get a little strong, however, and it's obvious the stories are built around a message. So, they're not so much for kids' delight as they are education. But that's OK. I can deny the kids great art for them to hear about not over-eating and watching less TV.

Collection of 34 Berenstain Bears Books
- My daughter grew up with The Berenstain Bears books. They all taught a valuable lesson in a very entertaining way. They opened up many important conversations for us that we might not have ever had. We would always keep our eyes open for a Berenstain Bears book that was not in her collection yet. I believe she has 34 books carefully packed away in her keepsake box. My daughter is now 26 and most of her childhood toys, games and books found there way to the Salvation Army Store, but her Berenstain Bears collection was not something we could part with. They will remain near and dear to our hearts.

I Love the Berenstain Bears!
- I grew up with these stories and enjoyed them all over again with my daughter. Although some parents have complained that Papa Bear is too much of a bungling fool, I think the stories show how the family loves one another in spite of any weaknesses. The moral lessons in these stories are timeless and much needed in today's society that has forgotten classic values.
